This canvas captures the charm of Timișoara through the lens of imagination and dream. The façades of historic buildings are bathed in luminous greens and golds, while their windows reflect an intense blue that unifies the composition. In the foreground, two figures in red add both warmth and human presence, standing near a radiant flowering tree. The work transforms the cityscape into a poetic vision, where architecture, color, and memory converge in a dreamlike atmosphere.

Gândurile pictorului

When I painted this work, I did not want to show Timișoara as it is, but as it feels in memory and reverie. The buildings became for me guardians of light, their windows glowing like fragments of sky. The two figures were not characters, but presences, witnesses to the dream. As I painted, I felt the city breathing in colors more alive than reality — greens of hope, blues of longing, and reds of vitality. For me, this is Timișoara not in daylight, but in the dream of the soul.
