I painted this city as if it were breathing under the weight of clouds. I felt the storm coming and leaving, a moment of fragile calm in between. The buildings seemed to resist the shifting sky, while the trees bent like witnesses to time. As I painted, I was not only capturing architecture, but the heartbeat of a place suspended between rain and light. It is a city of memory, of longing, and of hope, always waiting for the next clearing in the sky.
