This work captures an architectural dialogue between strength and passage. The arched bridge, glowing in warm tones, connects two realms of light and shadow, while the tall tower rises beside it, steadfast and watchful. The water below shimmers in greens and golds, echoing the vibrancy of the sky above, as if nature itself amplifies the monumentality of human creation. The painting blends solidity with fluidity, permanence with movement, in a composition that feels both serene and powerful.
The painter's thoughts
When I painted this, I imagined the bridge as more than stone — as a metaphor for crossing, for meeting, for transition. The tower, in contrast, is the guardian: it does not move, it witnesses. Between them, the river flows endlessly, changing every second. For me, this work is about balance: the stillness of what we build and the perpetual motion of the world around it. Together, they form a harmony that belongs to both man and nature.
