The painter's thoughts
I painted this canvas as if I were breathing the turquoise sky. I wanted to capture the sense of wonder when the sea, the city, and the heavens dissolve into one vision. The tower became for me a sign of endurance, rising above time, while the domes shone like living flames under the vast blue. As I painted, I felt I was chasing not the forms, but the light that binds them. This work carries my gratitude for those rare moments when reality itself feels like a dream.
