I wanted these flowers to feel like they were exploding into the world, unstoppable and full of brilliance. Nature sometimes gives us this impression — that everything grows with such force it almost cannot be contained. I thought of sunlight, of fire, of joy too intense to whisper. In this work, I let the colors run wild, to remind myself that beauty is not only harmony, but also eruption.
