Nocturna venetiana
This work captures the quiet majesty of Venice under the veil of night. The architecture is softened by shadows, its golden façades glowing faintly against a deep blue sky. The tall campanile rises like a sentinel, illuminated by the pale moonlight, while two figures in red bring a touch of intimacy and mystery to the scene. The composition transforms the nocturnal city into a dreamscape, where time seems suspended and silence becomes luminous.

Gândurile pictorului
When I painted this nocturne, I wanted to reveal Venice not in its brightness, but in its silence. The night allowed me to see the city differently — its buildings no longer shouting with color, but whispering through shadow and light. The moon was not just a source of illumination, but a companion, casting its quiet presence over stone and water. For me, this canvas is a love letter to Venice at night — fragile, timeless, and infinitely tender.
