To ensure flawless, museum-grade preservation, our fundamental rule is that all canvases remain stretched on their original wooden chassis throughout transit.
The Alternative: The "Lighter" Option
In specific transcontinental scenarios and solely upon the collector’s written request, the artwork may be unmounted from its chassis and shipped within a rigid reinforced tube to reduce volumetric air freight costs.
Requires professional restretching on a chassis at the destination by a certified conservator, with the procedure undertaken exclusively at the collector's responsibility.
