Passage Between Buildings

When painting this alleyway, I felt it as a threshold—a sanctum suspended between presence and absence, past and future. The architecture seemed animate, its walls exhaling centuries of history and latent warmth. The narrow passage was no empty void, but a corridor of concentrated light, a place of spiritual reclamation. I wanted these colors to reverberate as though the stones themselves were murmuring, reminding us that every secluded alley and weathered facade harbors forgotten chronicles. For me, this work is about transition—the sublime grace found in the spaces between worlds.
