A captivating floral masterwork in vertical format (100×70 cm). A luminous bouquet rendered in thick, sculptural impasto blazes with incandescent reds and solar yellows, anchored by the cool, stately elegance of a cobalt blue vessel. The atmospheric background vibrates with subtle chromatic harmonies.
Radiant Efflorescence in a Cobalt Vessel
I built this bouquet like a rising flame. The cobalt vessel provides the structural dignity needed to hold an eruption of chromatic joy. When I painted each flower, I wanted the impasto to catch the room's real light, so that the painting changes its mood throughout the day as natural daylight shifts.— Mihai Teodor Olteanu
