Honor, Tradition, and Art: A Tribute Exhibition for Mihai Teodor Olteanu and Carmen Aurariu on the Occasion of Receiving the Battle Flag
An exceptional commemorative exhibition honoring Romanian military tradition, hosted at the Military Emergency Clinical Hospital in Timișoara.
On September 21 and 22, 2026, the “Dr. Victor Popescu” Timișoara Emergency Military Clinical Hospital marks a milestone in its institutional history: the reception of the Battle Flag, the supreme emblem symbolizing military honor, valor, and glory.
As a token of profound respect for this institution and for Romanian military tradition, the ProArte Cupola is organizing an exceptional commemorative exhibition, hosted within the hospital premises. The gallery walls bring together works from the archive of Master Mihai Teodor Olteanu, accompanied by the creations of painter Carmen Aurariu. This artistic dialogue introduces a powerful spiritual and identity-focused dimension into the institutional space, with the palette and themes of the works resonating perfectly with the solemnity of the occasion.
This exhibition endeavor accompanies the official events unfolding in Victory Square, offering the public a visual and emotional anchor within the spirit of national values.
Schedule of official events (Victory Square) accompanied by the exhibition within the Military Hospital:
- Monday, September 21, 12:00 PM – General rehearsal for the ceremony.
- Tuesday, September 22, 12:00 PM – The official military-religious ceremony, featuring the participation of representatives from the Ministry of National Defense, military structures within the Timișoara Garrison, and local authorities.
Through this exhibition, art continues to remain a living presence during the most defining moments of our community’s life, honoring memory, spirituality, and contemporary creation alike.
„As a sign of deep respect for this institution and for Romanian military tradition, Cupola ProArte organizes an exceptional commemorative exhibition, hosted directly inside the hospital.”
